The issue of this year is Asian integration. We will discuss in three dimensions; the economic integration among the Asian countries (ASEAN countries, Eastern Asian countries), the political interaction and negotiation among Asian countries (South East China sea disputes), regional safety issue (pirates), the cooperation of multilateral judiciary systems (the intellectual crime, fraud ). Besides, human rights are among the vital issues concerning ALSA members for years; thus, we will discuss about the rights for gay in the aspect of comparing the Eastern and Western culture, and refer to the law of human right of European Union, to figure out any way for the protection of gay rights.
Apart from academic activities, we would indefatigably offer the must-go places which strongly represent Taiwanese culture. Taiwan is a place composed of Chinese and Japanese culture; moreover, we also keep the Native Taiwanese culture well. Thus, Taiwan is a multi-cultural nation, abundantly shown in our architecture and foods. Speaking of food, they are absolutely the signature of our ethnic-variety. Taiwanese foods are inherited from provinces of China, Japan. We also have food culture import from worldwide because the majority of Taiwanese are food-fonder. Taiwan is also famous for night activities where people have lots of options. They can choose to have fun during nights, night markets running till 12 am, the worldwide famous night club( Luxy, Myst, spark…etc), KTV and restaurant running for 24 hours. We assure you that there will not be a single moment for you to feel bored.

Singapore's AC Report
Its finally done, the long awaited ALSA Annual Conference came and went but it was definitely one to remember. Although the event took place in the middle of the exams season for most universities in Malaysia but fortunately our brothers and sisters from KDU and ATC were free at that period of time and were more than willing to represent ALSA Malaysia this time around. This is exactly the reason why we wanted to expend our ALSA influence in Malaysia, so that we will always have representatives for events such as this. So with this, we from ALSA Malaysia would like to give a big thank you to all the Malaysian participants for the Singapore AC 2014 and also a big shout out to ALSA Singapore for being such great hosts!
