Another year comes to an end as we bid farewell to the ALSA INTI 12/13 board of committee during the recent Induction and Annual General Meeting held by ALSA INTI on the 11th of July 2013. ALSA Malaysia is very thankful to have able to see the recently retired board of committee's capabilities and now proudly welcome the new 13/14 board of committees into the ALSA family. Click here to read more on the event. On 11th July 2013, ALSA Malaysia arrived in Taiwan for ALSA Taiwan's Study Trip. The event included many sessions of discussions involving mostly on Non-Government Organizations. The event proved to be not only educational but packed with fun and adventure especially for one Malaysian Delegate, Ng Yie Kai from ALSA INTI. The Vice President of Administrative Affairs in ALSA INTI Yie Kai was kind enough to share his bundles of experience from the trip so click here to read more on the event from Yie Kai's point of view. When it comes to study trips, ALSA Malaysia is always ready to participate. This time around, it was much closer as our enthusiastic delegates travelled to a neighbouring country, Brunei Darussalam. Despite being so close to home, our delegates were still very eager to explore the wonders and beauty that is Brunei. The hosts gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel right at home. The event covered not only cultural visits but also various academic events. To find out more on the epic journey our delegates had taken, click here to read the full report.

Being a law student is considered by some to be some sort of a full time job, so there is hardly any time to do any kind of exercises. ALSA UniSZA recently organized their very own version of "Running Man" called Running Flairians. Taking ideas and inspiration from the popular hit Korean variety show, ALSA UniSZA managed to get its members to do some exercises after having to spend long hours studying hard during the academic semester. To find out more on this event, click here to read the full report. Congratulations to HELP University once again for successfully hosting 2013's National Forum in the month of March. The Forum was not only educational but vital because the forum also saw the introduction of ALSA Malaysia's 2013/2014 National Board. With the forum done, ALSA Malaysia's future is now in the hands of the newly elected leaders and with the qualities and credentials, ALSA Malaysia is indeed in good hands. The event saw HELP University bringing in 'Fun' and 'Class' to the idea of hosting a forum. After the three day event, not only did we secure ALSA Malaysia's future but also we saw new friendships being formed. So once again, thank you HELP University! ALSA ATC, being one of the smaller contingents of the ALSA family might lack in number but with the right attitude and dedication, they always manage to pull off a few surprises. On the 22nd of February 2013, ALSA ATC organized a "Sharing Experience" Talk by lawyers to not only provide some tips of the trade for future lawyers but also serve as a mode of encouragement for the future lawyers. The speakers consist of experienced individuals such as their very own ATC lecturer and also the owner of his own firm, Mr. Lee Hong Kan, Mr. Richard Wee of Richard Wee & Yip, Mr. Mohd Izral Khairy of Izral Partnership, as well as Syahredzan bin Johan of Ramrais & Partners.
